April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, and May is National Foster Care Month, so there’s no better time to step up for children who need us most — children in foster care.
Child Focus is seeking passionate and committed leaders to join our Board of Trustees. If you believe every child deserves a safe, permanent home, this may be the role for YOU!
“We are looking for strategic thinkers and community connectors, especially those with philanthropic, corporate or civic ties, who are ready to put their networks and influence to work for children and families in the child welfare system.”
As a board member, you will:
Champion the voices of vulnerable children
Support fundraising and resource development
Provide strategic guidance and governance
Build and strengthen partnerships that expand our reach and impact
Board members serve 2-year renewable terms with 9 meetings annually (a mix of virtual and in-person). Whether your connection is personal or professional, your leadership can make a lasting impact.
